Filia, a former Priestess of the Fire Dragon King, showed up in the third season of Slayers with a request for help from Lina Inverse. Once sure of Lina's abilities, Filia lead the group to the supreme elder, Saichuro. The meeting did not go as Filia had planned, and ended with the truth about her people's past and the genocide of the Ancient Dragons.

Unable to believe Valgaav's accusations, Filia disobeyed the elders and continued the journey with Lina in hope to find the truth.

Through her travels, she not only helped to save the world from Darkstar, but also learned that not everything is black or white. And in order to make up for the sins of her race, she takes the responsibility to care for the egg of the reborn Valgaav to give him the good, loving life that was denied him the first time.
