Her attempt to enjoy the day seems to be ruined when Nahga arrives and accuses Lina of being a villain. However, the problem soon solved with minor damage and two cruise tickets to the island of Mipross, a place famous for their hot springs.

With a hunch that someone is controlling her dreams, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Forcing herself to sleep by eating a sleep berry, Lina sets up a trap inside her own mind to catch the man invading her dreams. The traps works and she forces the old man, Rowdy, to explain himself. After much begging and the mention of a hot spring that makes things grow, Lina decides to help the guy out.

Finally Rowdy reveals the whole story and tells them about the past and how he was unable to prevent Joyrock from destroying a village of elves. Seeing no other choice, they form a plan to travel back in time and stop the disaster from happening.

Once in the past, Lina saves the young Rowdy from a monster, and together they rush to save the village. Once there they defeat Joyrock by channeling a dragon slave through the Sword of Light.

After thanks, Lina returns to her own time, and shortly after rushed to the 'growth' spring Rowdy had mention earlier, only to be disappointed when a nearby villager explains that the spring causes things to age, not grow. After some minor moping, Nahga shows up once again. Embarrassed, Lina quickly runs off, and Nahga soon follows.
