The greatest thing about the ocean is the fresh sea food! Or so Lina and Gourry thought until he ate a cursed octopus, causing him to speak a very fishy language. Unable to understand her traveling companion, Lina has no choice but to help the small town defeat the evil octopus if she every wants to understand Gourry again!

Soon she discovers the the octopus' evil plan. They were going to revive a demon to distroy the town! But, to their dismay, the demon turns on them and plans to eat them all before he ruins the village.

Unable to stand by and let so many die, Lina defeats the beast the beast with a powerful spell.

Relived that the danger is over, both the twons people and the octopus come to a weird compromise that would let both races live in peace.
