Feeling pretty cool because...

I've been working at a local theatre festival for the past couple months, helping out in the props, costumes, and concessions depts. NY actors come in and basically blow our West Virginian minds. (It's called the Contemporary American Theatre Festival if you wanna look it up.)

Well. I just found out something amazing about one of the actors I've been working with. Her name is Eva Kaminsky... and she plays Naga/Nama in Evolution-R.

I was looking up VAs on Wiki, saw her name, and absolutely flipped out. I've confirmed it with her, and now I feel utterly starstruck.

Unfortunately yesterday was my last day working with the festival, so I never got the chance to get her to do the Laugh™.

But man. What kind of coincidence is that, huh??

I've run into very few famous people in my lifetime. That's becuase I'm shy though and don't meet new people that much anyway....
one of my previous jobs a Tennessee Titan player came in the store and I didn't recognize the dude. He was acting liek I should know him but I had no clue. After the guy left, a customer told me who the guy was. I forget now, that's how much I don't care about football!

Heh. That's pretty awesome. I would've been thrilled myself.

I've talked with Sonny Strait (Krillin in Dragon Ball Z, among others) enough times to be on a first name basis with him.

Unfortunately, I missed Crispin Freeman by one year at our local annual con. I hate myself a little bit for that.

Man, Crispin Freeman is the holy grail of VA encounters... if one has ever even heard of anime, one's probably already heard his acting. He's EVERYWHERE.

I didn't get an autograph, unfortunately, but I am Facebook friends with her now. Plus I got to see her act as the lead onstage in two plays, and she's pretty mindblowing.

Now my number one priority: use this advantage to finally meet Freeman or Ortiz. lol.
