What's the funniest episode ?

Yeah, this time I'm not asking the gag but the episode. That might go better.

Starting:

I would put ex-equo (does it even mean anything in English? ...) the one with the funny song with Amelia and Lina (those two are in my signature ^^) and the one when Jillas tricks them (even Xellos apparently?) in the temple. Those two are particularily filled with funny moments and that's why I would put them before the rest.

A funny part is indeed the middle of Next, I mean with Miwann, the puppet master, the Brass Racket and so on ^^ But I still prefer the ones mentioned above. Well, there are a lot more funny eps but just to know your fav'.

Zel, longing for home and the Slayers tapes

Hmmm, there are several episodes that would deserve the title 'funniest ep'.

I guess I would also say the episode you mentioned when Lina and Amelia had to perform the song. It was really hilarious. And that weird mask-Mazoku alone made me laugh when I saw it because it looks so completely ridiculous...

The one in the tower where they dressed up in customes is another candidate - 'Zelga-bunny-chan' and Gourry in his comfy Jellyfish custome were absolutely great in that ep. Not to mention Xellos' cooking skills!

The episode from the first season where Lina and Amelia dressed Gourry up as a girl the first time was one of the funniest, too. And the one in the 'marriage temple' from TRY, yeah.

And I bet I'm forgetting something here. For some reason I didn't find the episode in NEXT that funny where they all dressed up as girls. I don't know.

Gonna have to agree with you guys here. The top 3 funniest episodes, to me atleast, were the one where Lina and Amelia dressed Gourry up as a girl and got hit on by Valun, the one at Artemay tower, and the marriage one in TRY. They are by far the best ones.

I like that one where Martina had a crush on Gourry. I got my reasons

I would have to say the first couple episodes still have me in stitches. The energy and humor just oozes laughs. It set the stage for the rest of the series very well. "You can't make an omlet unless you break a few eggs."

The episode with the theater troup had me in stitches as well. seeing Amelia living out her dreams and get carried away and the play interupted was great. I also liked the episode where Amelia and Lina sing, it may be the funniest moment but the catfight with the guys looking on indifferently is a hoot even the intro of the gils in red is funny. The episode of Lina first meeting Martina and the hole Amelia/Martina/Zel banter is another I do not get tired of.

The first episode of TRY was very funny but since it had the feel of an epic, the humor was a tad less but more than made up with the intensity of the story. The funniest episode for me of TRY though was the runaway train and all they did, and failed to do, from hitting Filia's home. Seeing Xelloss defending Filia into a deeper hole at the end was just icing on the cake.

I was never fan of filler episodes,
But one filler episode from TRY made me actually like filler for once.
It comes late, close to the end of Try. Gourry and Ameila are still separated from Lina, Filla and Zel and stumble upon what I like to call, The Senior Power Rangers!
Oh that had me in stitches when I saw them.
The episode was so ridiculously absurd that even Zel and Gourry wanted to skip on ahead to the main plot.

That's why, Senior Power rangers is my favorite funny episode of the slayers series.

I've always personally loved the Dragon Cuisine episode from Slayers NEXT. I've recently been rewatching the entire anime and, while Slayers in general always gets me to laugh out loud, that one episode probably gave me more laughs altogether.
